| The Very Last Race in the Basement! | December 2002 |
On the very last club night at Grimwade Memorial Hall it seemed fitting to mark the occassion with a photo record of those present at the end of an era!
The class being raced was Saloon and 12 drivers took to the track. As is normal Ipswich procedure, each driver had three 3 minute heats, best one to count for qualification to one of the three 5 minute finals, run from slowest qualifier to fastest.

| The End of an Era |
From Monday 16th to 23rd December there will be a "Display of Slots" at the Central Library in Ipswich. This display has been created by Jim O'Sullivan using part of his large collection of historic slot cars and accessories. Well worth a visit - pics will be on site soon!
